The LashMap App is almost a fact …
We have worked hard and it is almost a fact, the LashMap app from LashFile is in testing phase and almost ready to roll out. The LashMap App will soon be available in both the Google Playstore and the Apple Appstore and is a hybrid app. So if you are looking for a LashMapping App then you are at the right address.
The LashMap App is the same in terms of functionality.
The App is exactly the same as the desktop / online version. We started building it immediately after the launch of our online platform and tool because of the high demand. No difference in functions and now you can store and edit all your customers and treatments both online and with your favorite phone. Execute your treatments with your smartphone and maybe update some data on your laptop. We are enthusiastic and of course we hope you too.
A hybrid app, why not a native app? The terms for choosing the platform of apps and very complex to explain, but the most important thing you need to know about that is the following. A native app stores everything on your own device and in the accompanying cloud environment. This has the disadvantage that you are responsible for the data yourself. Lost your account … lost your smartphone … then you will have to restore it all by yourself if you want to get your data back. We have opted for a SaaS solution, or an online program, that you can use. This has, of course, also some disadvantages, in which the advantages have the upper hand in all respects.
What are the benefits?
- Short development times
- Lower costs in development
- Always up-to-date with the latest techniques
- Optimal security
- No loss of data
- Use without installation
What are the disadvantages?
- You need an internet connection
- Uploading photos takes a bit longer than writing directly on your phone
Point 1 of these disadvantages is already negligible since today everyone has internet connection everywhere with a smartphone or computer. Especially people with a lash studio or practice or who are doing business in general. Point 2 is thus the only one left in this. We are constantly working to make this process as optimal and fast as possible and it takes only 2 to 4 seconds per photo taken. On average 2 to 3 photos are taken before the start of the treatment and 2 to 3 after. So there are a total of 6 roughly so at most 24 let’s say 30 seconds. We found it so manageable that this also did not pose a problem for us and made the choice for a hybrid app easy.
So check the Appstore and the Playstore soon for the Lashmap App of LashFile, of course we will announce it everywhere and we will keep you informed if you are subscribed to our newsletter or follow us via Facebook or Instagram.
